Introductory workshop on the Haudenosaunee practice of corn husk twining led by Frazer Sundown (Seneca Nation). Please note this is a time-intensive practice that requires patience. Goal of workshop will be to complete a small piece.

This event is free for Native community members.
Only 12 spots available. Must be present both days.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.​

This program is presented in partnership with the exhibition and performance of Rosy Simas’ A:gajë:gwah dësa’nigöëwë:nye:’ (i hope it will stir your mind) at the Walker Art Center. Corn husks and the traditional Haudenosaunee art form of corn husk twining are central to the gallery installation.
